Musing About The Teamsters UPS Lawsuit YouTube Video
In addition to the various articles I write here, I also record a podcast. While the majority of podcasts are still audio-only, the video podcast format is gaining traction and interest, which is why the podcast can be found on YouTube as well as the typical audio-only formats many have come to enjoy. It was gaining traction until I took a break (for personal reasons that were warranted). Now, I am rebuilding momentum. It’s not a sprint; it’s a marathon, and I understand that.
And, in the spirit of full transparency, I am a horrible marketer. I do NOT market the podcast (or the website for that matter) well. I abhor all the disingenuous marketing so many engage in – creating worthless clickbait and bringing no real value to people. People are looking for their 15 minutes of fame for doing/creating/producing nothing. While I haven’t taken much time to assess why I market poorly, perhaps it’s because, subconsciously, I don’t want to appear to be/do the same.
Imagine my surprise to discover the podcast episode entitled “Understanding The Teamsters UPS Lawsuit” on YouTube garners more attention than any other podcast episode I’ve created thus far. I don’t think I did anything unique, different, or out of the ordinary; indeed, it seemed rather run-of-the-mill for a podcast episode. And while it hasn’t gone “viral” by any definition, it has given me an idea of what’s possible in the future.
So here’s to growth, one podcast episode at a time 😏
